Setting Up Your Email Account with Gmail

In order to be able to receive email within Fieldd's communication center you will need to forward your email to the email alias provided by Fieldd.
To start off you will need to add the email account that you want to use with Fieldd to the list of email accounts.
- Click on Communications in the left side bar
- Click on the Email Accounts Tab
- Click on New Email Account
You will then be prompted to add the email account that you would like to use in Fieldd as well as assign users who will have access to the email account.
Next you will need to forward your email from your mail client into Fieldd.
Email Account Forwarding
In Gmail account settings:
- Click Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab click on add a forwarding address.
Next you will input the alias address received in Fieldd when you added in your email address:
Copy and paste the Alias Email into text field and click next.
Next you will get a confirmation code emailed to your @mail.fieldd.com within Fieldd. The confirmation code generally comes directly in the subject line of the email.
Copy the confirmation code to that you can verify that you are giving Gmail permission to forward incoming mail into your Fieldd mailbox.
Enter the code from email in Gmail forwarding section and click Verify to validate the account.
Now you will need to check ‘Forward a copy of incoming mail….’ option and then at the very bottom of the page click on save to confirm your changes.
If you have correctly entered all the information and saved the new forwarding settings you will receive the following notice in your Gmail account.
You are now able to send and receive your email directly within Fieldd App.
